Currently, the Maestro resides in Merced, CA and teaches private piano, voice, and composition/theory lessons, and has taken film scoring lessons online in a Master Class with Hans Zimmer (courtesy of www.masterclass.com), and plays the piano as a leisure activity, while his voice recuperates from several severe lung/breathing complications.
Now, Maestro Cory has rejoined the academic fold and is studying Film and Media Studies at Arizona State University, in order to augment his already vast knowledge of musical subjects. His emphasis is on styles/genres and film theory/analysis/criticism.
